Consolidating itunes libraries multiple computers watson dating felton
If you have two libraries, Library 1 and Library 2, and you would like to add Library 2’s contents to Library 1, you will have to go to the Media folder on i Tunes that has your content.
There’s nothing more frustrating than having to switch computers or log in and out of multiple Apple i Tunes accounts just to access the music, videos, and apps you have downloaded as a different user or on a new device.
If your business has multiple computers and each has its own i Tunes library, it can become difficult to keep track of all of your content.
i Tunes has a feature called Home Sharing that can help you to consolidate all of your i Tunes content on one computer, so long as all of your computers use the same local area Ethernet or Wi-Fi network.
On account of the large size of many i Tunes libraries, it is not easy to consolidate them.
It is not as simple as burning a compact disc and then loading it on to a new computer.
It will maintain various files which will contain information about the content in your library.
Whatever the reason, I’m going to show you how to fix the problem so your technology can do what it was built to do: make your life easier.

We reserve the right to edit questions for grammar, spelling, and length. I am completely overwhelmed by my music collection as it is stored in way too many places.
If the Advanced menu says "Turn Off Home Sharing" when you click it then Home Sharing is already enabled. Enter your Apple ID and associated password and click “Create Home Share.” Repeat these first four steps on each computer from which you want to copy content. The names of the other computers on which you have enabled Home Sharing will appear here. Click the first content category you want to consolidate and click “Import.” Available content categories will vary depending on the contents of that computer’s i Tunes library.
Common categories include Music, Apps, Movies, TV Shows and Photos.
For this method you will need to export your library from the first computer (or user, as the case may be), and import it into the second computer as its final destination.
